Zimpu ritual incense, with its special manner of preparation, is one of the ancient traditional arts of the monastic order of Tibet. It is composed of 25 ingredients of which saffron, nagi, and red & white sandal wood are some.
Incense is well known for being offered to various deity and as way of treating and healing from sickness. Incense is burned daily for the ritual pujas, daily pujas in home and office for goodness and to remove evil spirits from the livelihood. It is also used as medicine for the treatment of sickness. Burning incense is very important in our daily life as it brings positive action, relieves stress, relaxes and refreshes mind and body from daily pressure.
